so i picked up a 94 elantra that I can't seem to flip.
As usual that causes my mind to think motor swaps and top chops. If I'm reading the webz right, I can swap in the 4g63 directly with little more than using the donor ecu.
edumacate me on the possibilities of this beater

I think you can only use the later 4g63s as the early ones are backwards...

the Beta is not a bad engine.. it can be boosted.. and the parts are out there to do it

up to 95 the Elantra is still 1G Mitsu based, motor is on drivers side

1.8 = 4G67

Correct, first gen Elantra's are little more than differently shaped miustu's. 4G63 is a direct swap.
