How dare you not post a link with it.

There was an armored W126 on the Jacksonville craigslist a few years back. It was only $1000, but I couldn't figure out how to get it home. The HVAC system was broken, and it weighed more than anything I owned would be able to tow. I figured I'd get heat stroke if I tried driving it.
In reply to Tom Suddard :
I think someone posted that in the Craigslist thread in the 126 forum on Benzworld lol

Ah pre-96
I think my brother bought this one from him, he wanted a red one to compliment his red 190e and red 300e. That's why you buy cars right?

Not on the 101. 30 miles south.
I know of 3 of them here. The gas station owner (Palms 76)- he has the 4 6x6 benz, grosser, and a sick ton of other cars (gas station isn't his main business ;) ), has 1 of them. Pretty cool rigs

I've driven these in Afghanistan doing corrupt shady dignitary work. V10 and diesel versions.
You can see piecemeal what it costs to up armor Toyotas if you look on the Toyota Gibraltar website.

I think if one needs armor (civilians), best is to drive vehicles that don't look like they are armored - thus going under the radar

As a person with a 2.1 inch penis, Learned a long time ago not to judge my friends on their penis size
A Columbian friend of mine told me about "back in the day" during the drug wars. These armored cars were all the rage. Called "blindado" these made the occupants impervious to attack. Then once, a really powerful roadside bomb hit a blindado Suburban so hard it launched it from the street to the top of a parking garage. When they got up there, to everyone's amazement, the body was still intact! But when they opened the doors there was just a pinkish goo.
