I know about the carbon buildup, leaky cam actuator solenoids, worn out air-ride struts, and expensive broken intake manifolds. These are all things I can handle. What else does the hive know for sure about them? I know Audis with the supercharged V6 can be faster with a tune, but I want that glorious-sounding V10.
I read somewhere that changing 02 sensors is an engine-out procedure, at least on the S6.

Most things on a vee engine 6 are engine out, but it is very easy to drop the engine.
Apparently they can shove a little bit. Make sure you have the specs when you add nitrous.

That was a D2 with the 4.2L V8. This conversation is about the D3, with the V10.

I just watched Ronin again this weekend, so I am getting a kick out of this thread.
Guy up the street has a S8 with the v10, sounds sweet. Cool cars.

Not yet, but of course I will before making a decision.

Aha! A bit of research confirms it, for the S8 also. Thanks for that. Exactly why I wanted to ask this group.
