Everybody on streets at the Devens Tour was driving the Bridgestone RE71R if that counts for anything.

It can give me bragging rights? then I like it! Our lot was really small, I think my fastest time was 34.7 seconds, the slowest times I heard people getting were around 40 seconds, i think a kart hit a 29. real small, tight, and lots of fun! I was pretty shocked how quickly big cars could get around, though. There was a guy there in an old Nova who flew through the thing! granted he knew what he was doing and had a lot of suspension work, but still it was impressive how agile a giant boat can be.

Yeah those come in my size and from what i've heard they're a bit faster than the RS3 V2's, but they are about $400 more per set so i'm going to go cheap for now, being a noob.
Ok price dropped on the RS3 v2's again so I got a set, theyre going on now and first event with them is tomorrow. also getting the alignment that was suggested, and now I am officially done preparing this car. I like this stock class thing, I dont have to do anything! Though from what I read, the things allowed in stock class dont do diddly on an rx8. Already have stiffer suspension, forged aluminum wheels, cat back doesnt give this car much of anything, im done
Did Hankook infuse these tires with sticky witchcraft? because it feels like witchcraft...
I never got real comfortable with the way these tires drive compared to my last (sucky) ones, but the times don't lie. I was getting more used to them, that's just a matter of time I think. I kept lopping off time, like LOTS of time. Ended up with a great pax score(3 out of 46 I think), and for the first time i didn't get sunburned! that last part isn't related to the tires, it's just awesome. Speaking of awesome, Mazda really knows how to make a car handle
