Congrats! How 'bout some pics?
On the SVT shifter topic. I finally (paid someone to) put some Royal Purple 31140 HPS 10W-40 in my transmission. Yes 10w40 HPS in my Getrag as per a 10 minute phone call with Royal Purple (Synchromax is not applicable here.) The verdict:
Shifts like a brand new car. Much improved but not necessarily transformed into a Miata or a Honda shifter, noticeably nicer than the Ford Honey I was using. I wish I did it years ago. Great support from the Royal Purple customer service too.

Interesting, I may have to try that. I am currently using redline (MTL i think) which is pretty thick stuff. I know ford t-5's need thinner than the MTL as well (ATF?), but I think I got the recommendation from the redline website.
Very interesting. According to my handy dandy maintenance spreadsheet, this has had Synchromax in it for about 10k. Seems to shift fine to me.

Most of the Focus forums have people recommending Synchromax, but the Royal Purple guy said the 10w40 HPS is thicker than Synchromax and would be a smoother shift action. I went with the RP advice as opposed to the 16 yr olds on the other forums who keep giving me bad advice.
First picture of it I'll share on the forums -
So that's not awesome. Looking for replacement wheels, if anyone has any sitting around. I know the OEM wheels are still available from tire rack but I'd like to spend less than ~400 on getting this thing back on the road.

Check out the for sale forums on FocalJet and Focus Fanatics. I have gotten several sets of wheels from there at good prices.
