So I have zero theft and jacked comprehensive. Almost smacked a deer the other day too! Sometimes living in bumberkeley egypt has it's advantages. For example, there's a trap shooting club on campus. Nice!

Comprehensive is other than collision with another vehicle. That's how I explain it when I sell a policy.

I looked into it for my M3. My insurer only uses Safelite, and no amount of discussion would get anyone on board with my paying extra for a piece of OEM glass.

I called a few friends who have been in the high-end bodywork business and there's one guy around town who does all the super high dollar jobs for picky owners. I got his info, he showed up on time w/ a genuine BMW part and did a perfect job installing it.

It was expensive.

As was the next one exactly a year later...

The glass is PGW. The funny thing is, the passenger side has no 'waves' while the drivers side has a lot.

Today I drove the car a little bit and the clarity of the glass is almost a little jarring. It's like using a high def screen instead of an old gas station tv set.

I'm able to ignore the waves more and more but they still annoy me.
