Mine came from Volvo, but its too much dough for a one time use. IPD would certainly be my first choice, unless you have a friendly dealer nearby.

Generally canoes don't have ignition systems, distributor or not.
Parts ordered! Head is off, gonna take it to get rebuilt. Have a new head gasket, timing belt and PCV System coming... 
Status Update: Parts on the way
Burnt Valve. New exhaust valve from World Pac is $24, gonna slap it in. Have a Gasket Set coming. All parts should be here by Wednesday..
Yep, that'll do it.
Advice: use the proper Volvo pink anaerobic sealer.
