So I’m pimping out these sleazy Miata amazon tail lights. There is a strange recessed area that is not part of the light bulb area and is just there, staring at you. It has a crappy “U” shape indent, and I’m sure it was for whatever crap Chinese mold poured this thing. I would like to turn that recessed area into a reflector.
Any reason I shouldn’t? And if anyone knows, what is some good quality reflective tape I can cut out and sticker in that recessed U? (Red or white are fine).
Tape. Reflective TAPE. God dang you Siri!!

Reading the title, REFECTIVE TALE. Might want to see a doctor about that. Maybe a shot will fix it.
I bought reflective tape from harbor frieght
they have yellow ones (for my bike rack), and red ones (trailer hitch)
