Starting on the planning of a 1973 Ford Bronco. This will be a ground up restoration. Figured I should do a bit of research ahead of time.

A quick search tells me that parts are available from a few sources. The Ford F2 build kind of put me off LMC as most of their stuff was poorly made and or flimsy. Not that it could not be made to work, but I hate burning client time and calendar time of my own.

Is there a Go-To source for Bronco parts? I see Dennis Carpenter as a big self promoter but can he deliver?

The plan is to rebuild the truck to pretty much stock with a 302 engine. probably a new crate engine if suitable. Are there mods that one should consider regardless?

As always, thanks for reading along and helping.

I've been a huge fan of National Parts Depot for years, phenomenal customer service along with good parts.  That being said, I've never bought any body panels from them.  They typically have OEM stuff available, though.

Deboss Garage (Youtube guy based in the St. Catharines area) just started a Bronco project bringing one home from Oregon. They stopped at Bronco Bob's who specializes in restoring and modifying these including putting new flat packed body's together for these. At 13:30 they show some of that in the video imbedded below, the boxes in the background are from Dennis Carpenter.

Thanks all. Will look into National Parts Depot as I have never heard of them.

Anything that I should look at before I commit to the landing in the shop? Trouble spots in the bodyshell? I have not looked at the patient yet, but it would be good to know if there are known rust spots on the frame or body that might matter for a go/no- go.
