I recently say a white plasti dipped vette with a. Pearl additive (people are using makeup additives last I looked, like 10 or 20 bucks) that looked pretty good. And since it was white it wasn't immediately obvious it was plasti dip.

Time for an update.
Well I have come to the difficult decision to cut my losses. The Accord refused to start the last time I tried to drive it. The key does not actuate the starter anymore. I was able to start it by applying 12 volts directly to the starter solenoid, but on that drive the car began shuddering on acceleration. I limped home and in the process of trying to diagnose the shudder stalled the car. Despite all my efforts the car refused to start again.
I started thinking about the whole situation and decided that the car is too rough to forge ahead. The interior came out great but the exterior leaves much to be desired. That coupled with the now non-starting / poorly running situation helped make the decision for me.
I talked to my buddy about the car not running / scraping the car and he said he would waive the $150 dealer fee since he is not doing any paperwork etc. I removed the 18x7.5 Konig wheels and listed them on craigslist for $250.00. I also took out the pristine front seats, the cold air intake and the battery. I plan on listing the seats for $150 and the intake for $50.00. If I sell the wheels, the intake and the seats for what I am asking I will come out about $300 ahead. I am getting $300 for the car from the local yard.
Oh well you can't win them all...
Sorry to hear the outcome.
Despite that, I love these flip threads. I daydream about doing the same and the folks actually doing it provide great insight. Thank you!
