I have one of these:

And I have these:

is there an easy button to connect the two?

I'm assuming I need to fabricate a pair of small adapter plates. Steel or copper or does it matter?

Looks like you've got a threaded hole on the battery and a threaded hole on the 'charge post adapter' thing. IF they were the same thread you could connect them with a piece of all-thread, but that would be too easy.

Nope battery hole is for 6mm bolt the top post adapter is for 3/8 x16 bolt. you'd need a threaded bushing.

Change the ends on the car? Crimp on some eyelet connectors (solder as well depending on your flavor) and there you have it. Your local autosupply place should have them or a electrical supply house. Heck home depot may have them.

Thats what I did for the eye hole connectors you can use copper tubing from the hardware store. Cut off a 2in or so section, hammer half of it flat, drill a hole in the flat part. Put the cable into the non flat part.

I retapped the battery posts to use a bolt that I had also. They are soft lead not hard to do.

You'll need to log in to post.
