Nissan has confirmed their entry for this year's Pirelli Ultimate Track Car Challenge, and we got a sneak peak at their entry taking a few hot laps around the VIR full course.

The top end of the leaderboard looks like it will be crowded this year.
And here are new images of the AIX 71 Camaro of Jake's Rod Shop. Pix were taken at the NASA NE NJMP Lightning event last weekend. Right now, this car is the most popular entry on the Car Domain entry list. Owner / Driver / builder Jake Parrott is a rookie, yet he and that car finished second in the club race. So this should be an interesting car to watch at UTCC and in AIX.
Is it normal for body work to wiggle like that?

Lighter through jello?
Fairly certain that it is a result of the video compression used. I've seen it on many motorsports videos, though never as bad as that.
I think it's the vibration of the camera plus the compression, yeah. When we stuck a GoPro in Andy Nelson's V8 Volksrod at the $2009 Challenge, he reved it up and the world turned to wave-o-vision at the starting line, it was a cool effect.
Although if any vehicle were going to have active body panels, it'd be the GT-R. Awesome car, delighted to have one in the UTCC.

Glad to see that Sharif and the GT-R will be there. Both have plenty of laps around VIR and are a pleasure to watch

Just saw the Forged GTR at Barber this past weekend at a BMW HPDE. It was super fast and sounded awesome. There were 3 other GTR's there as well- from A group all the way to D.
