Hi pals! I’m a person who has a deep passion for speed.

I’m thinking about Yamaha YZF-R1 and Suzuki GSX-S1000 ABS. I like a motorbike that is strong and accelerates very quickly in a straight line.

Hope that you guys will help me to choose one suitable for me.

Not exactly a bike crowd here on the site but I'll give my two cents.
First off what have you ridden for bikes before ? Both of these bikes are the equivalent of super cars as far as performance goes. ABS is a nice touch but it won't save you from entering a corner too fast or running into a stationary object.
Even a modern 600cc sport bike accelerates like a rocket ship, a liter bike can be literally frightening when on the throttle.

Honestly comparing the two is a Pepsi vs Coke type of discussion. Both are hyper capable speed machines that are capable of embarrassing all but the most extreme cars. If the bike is driven by a qualified rider.

Maybe the moderators can move this over to the motorcycle and bicycle forum.

jasonknight, do you already ride? If not, don't get that big of a bike for your first one. If you already ride no problem, I'm including dirt bikes , so its a pretty wide range. I ride a Triumph street triple which has a 765 cc triple and will do 0-60 in 2.9 seconds. I cant remember if it will get there in first gear, if not its pretty close. It will do 150 mph. when riding a bike my experience is your speed will seem 1.5 times faster than the same speed in a car. If you love speed and want to do it on two wheels, check out champ school or whatever lee parks is calling his training now. There is way more to fast than a liter bike. ABS is definitely worth the money as is traction control on a bike. ABS will help keep the front wheel from washing out in a high G stopping maneuver, especially when you are in a turn. Traction control can be a pain if you want to wheelie but it will keep you from looping the bike when you take off too hard, also will help prevent the back wheel from locking up when you downshift too far and let the clutch out. A fast bike I would reccommend a new rider is an mt-07. Very fast bike, will wheelie easily but less instant death than a liter bike.

Sit on both and see which one feels better. When it comes to speed, liter bikes they are all pretty much the same.

My current liter bike stable, '00 Yamaha R1 and '21 BMW S1000RR.

When I check the OP's profile it says he's posted twice but the first post in this thread is the only one that shows up.  Seems fishy?

I agree.  The post smells like the mini sub that is trying to sneak in prior to launching a full on watercraft attack to me.
