So When I renewed my subscription as I do every year to get a shirt with it, I noticed this shirt wasnt the same material as the past years. Please dont take this as a complaint, as Ill continue to support the cool people that run the magazine regardless. Just more from a curiosity stand point. I loved the material of the older shirts, it was thicker. Lasted for ever. I use these all the time, being just in the garage or laying under a car at a track day or autox. The new shirt was a little more of a fitted type shirt, and thinner material. Also great for those hot days in the sun as they breath better. But was this just because it came with the magazine, or a new thing for all shirts?

Yup, its the new super soft shirts. Im in the minority of people who dont really care for them. Regular old cheap t-shirts fit me perfect. I have to get these soft shirts in a 2xl where i would normally like a large or xl. Way too tight in the chest and arms with most of them. Fits me like a baby doll dress. But most people seem to love them.
Honestly I'm another vote for the old materials.

Id prefer to move back to the old ones as well. Anyway I just sent through an order for some stickers I added on a shirt as well, so was curious which style I would get.

Well I'm not only old but old school also. I like the old style tee shirts with the thicker material and a bit looser. Would also like heather gray as I am a bit of a slob it it would look better after a few washes with the stains I manage to generate.
The old ones were great for exfoliating dead skin. The new ones are AMAZING. Promise.

Yes, we switched to a softer, more-fitted style for our new shirts. We got complaints constantly about the old style, and after reading this I think we'll just start switching back and forth every few years like they do with new and old Coca Cola to keep everybody happy.

And don't forget to rotate some color in also please. I'm wafting for Plum Crazy Purple.
Honestly I'm too fat for the new shirts. I know the jumbo sizes cost more but I'd really appreciate them being available to order in the store.
I know I washed the 35th anniversary shirt and unless I lose about 40 pounds I can't fit into a 2xl. The older shirts this wasn't an issue.
I like the softer material on the new shirts. I would LOVE to see some color options. Heather gray would be awesome too.

I actually like the old ones better as well, they seem a lot tougher (and I wear my shirts in the garage, at the track, etc., so I like them to be tough).
The new ones are a bit more comfy and a more flattering cut (i.e. they look better if you're gonna wear it out to meet your buddies at a bar).
I'm fine with either (I mean, they're free), but if I was given a choice I'd choose the old ones.
I'm another fan of the old style. And any other color than black.
Another vote for grey. Or gray. I'd take either.
I'll vote for the new style. Soft is good. Blue would be cool, or hot pink maybe. Ooh, how about purple!
Yeah, all I can say is my wife's tired of me wearing these ALL the time.
That's a good thing.
I wear all of them but the thinner Ines are better for summer
I subscribe for three years at a shot and never get a t-shirt. I know it's because I don't live in the United States, but still I would love to have one about which to complain.
I like the new ones better, but I will say the GRM logo on one of them is off center by like 1.5" and crooked. I thought it was just me, but the missus confirmed.
My vote is for a grey pocket t-shirt with a simple GRM flag logo on the pocket and nothing on the back..
Just ordered one and it is pleasantly soft. Should have ordered a size up tho. Not sure if its the style of tee or my corona 15 stretching this bad boy.
The "Comfort Colors" brand of printed pocket tees are my absolute favorite. Got two from different charity events and then had to amazon more they were so comfy. I also believe there may be a plum option........

Hmm, sounds like a misprint snuck past us. Email nancy@ this website and we'll send out a replacement.
I have at least 10 of the old shirts. The new softer ones are a welcome change, though I don't think it will last as well as the older ones.
