Check out Carmax. They have a very strong positive rep for customer service, but you do need to know the posted price is the price. But, if they have one you like at an acceptable price, no muss / no fuss per two coworkers who bought there.

I've found there is a lot less leeway in the asking prices at dealerships recently; not sure if there is less markup or if they are more willing to hold out for a full Price buyer. Also, those don't sit on the lot so you should probably expect to pay close to asking. Hope you find a good one!
We have a 2011 CX-9, traded in a '04 Odyssey for it (I'll never buy another Honda ever again). It's been rock solid so far (~60k miles on it) with only regular oil changes, a new set of tires, and front brake pads (didn't even really need them, but I did it anyway). Shorter adults (5'10" like me) can sit in the third row for around town trips, but I wouldn't want to do a long road trip in the back. We have the touring model and I used to think of backup cameras as gimmicky but damn, now I wish my '12 Challenger had one!! Of course, I just received the Takata air bag recall notice so no passengers in the front seat for a while....
Oh, to be fair, I must say there is something I'm not too fond of but have learned to live with it...the back doors are very long. Sometimes I have to get in the car and back it up so my daughter can get the rear door open (I HATE receiving door dings and go out of my way to ensure I don't give them out).

Both of the used CX-9 have been on the Mazda dealer lot for a little over a month now. They are moving thru new cars just fine vs used cars from what I have seen. I drive by the place everyday and the cars out front are almost always changing. My wife called and spoke with someone about the 2016 Mazda 6. It was $23.5k out the door for the Touring after dealer incentive. Seems like that is a better bargain than a used CX-9 but the depreciation has got to be nuts in a sedan vs a crossover/SUV.
