Who, technically, is the promoter of this series? Is it a self-contained entity sponsored by Battery Tender, Mazda, and BFG?

I've said this elsewhere but it's nice that Americas most popular form of auto racing can be paired with an almost unknown like IndyCar.

This new Cup car was running at Hallett this weekend. HOLEEEE CRAP it was fast!!!

My granddaughter insisted on getting a closer look. I guess the family is raising her right!

I'm surprised Indy didn't opt for SM racing as opposed to the Global MX-5 platform. You know because of the amount of metal to metal contact and all.
