After 4 years of sitting on this thing, it's great to see them finally do something with it. It looked pretty cool, even with the jank proportions, and I was shocked at how reliable it was and how well it actually drove.

i'm looking to go older than they did.
there have been other old cars put on modern Cup chassis in the past, and they are always badass.
the cleanest one i've seen was a 69 Chevelle.

Many oval track cars are a couple control arms away from being road course cars.

It all depends on how the chassis are built.. some are just designed from the frame rails up to only turn left at 200mph..

My first thought when I saw a profile shot after it was shortened was hatchback!
I'd like to put a hatch on my Mark VII...I just love hatchbacks for some reason.
In reply to The_Jed:
Why stop at hatchback when you could have a breadvan Mark VII? I'd be up for it.
They made a shooting brake!
Like all episodes that do not contain the word "hellcat", this one was quality stuff. :) Hugely entertaining. It's cool to see how much of these projects the guys build themselves too.
I was watching it in bed on my tablet and groaned so loudly when Freiberger hit the wall, that my wife said "what happened???"
Really fun build. I'm bummed it ended as fast as it did. Those two deserve all of the e-fame they have.
I'm also glad that it hasn't completely turned into a Dodge commercial. I'm curious what will happen with the Fast N Loud drag race.

But you just knew it was going to happen. You just knew it.
I have to give props to FCA for allowing them to continue doing essentially whatever the hell they want. Granted, I probably would have thrown them a bone and at least looked for some old Chrysler body to VIN the car with. An old 70's Mirada, Cordoba or something.
