Well ofcourse now in Europe mg now has every type of car as it’s the badge used now instead of rover. But now they will have their own pickup in Thailand. It’s also currently the only rear drive MG.

Why not? If the MG brand can gain traction in a niche market I am all for it.

Certainly not the ugliest truck on the market.
Its “badge engineered” from canoe-land, china.
“If the Extender looks just a little familiar, that's because it's a badge-engineered version of the Maxus T70 ute, which in turn is a very close relation to the LDV T60 sold in Australia. Both the T70 and Extender feature SAIC's newest turbo-diesel engine range.
LDV, Maxus, MG and Roewe are all brands wholly owned by Chinese automaker SAIC.”
In reply to MotorsportsGordon :
As I understand it it only comes with a diesel and a manual 6 speed. List price is $18,000 but for now only sold in Thailand.
I was hoping for MGB Ute content...
