Hey all, I thought I'd pick everyone's brain on this one. Well, I've been trying to fix this issue on my miata for awhile and haven't had much luck. So on my car, I think the support frame for the top might be bent, it seems that one side (the passenger's seals much better than the driver's side (and that stupid section always tends to leak in the rain).

I tried the usual, lowering the frame adjustment points in the rear, adjusting the window stops so they're a bit taller/adjusting the weatherstripping and replacing with brandy new stuff.

But it seems like the frame right above the center part of the top of the driver's side window top might be bent . Has anyone encountered this? If so, any ideas on how to adjust it? I guess worse comes to worse I'll try and find another frame at the junkyard, I"m due for a new top anyways!

Best fix ive seen is park next to a building and use a 2x4 and scissor jack againt the wall with the 2x4 going through the car and pushing on the bend. Mine was bent bad enough that I couldnt muscle it by hand but for more adjustment try the above method.
