I'm driving to a Miata junkyard tomorrow. I have a '97 that I want to swap a torsen rear end into..... Otherwise, what bits and pieces from various NAs and NBs should I look for? I autocross it and am STS now but expect to switch to STR with the new diff.
Advice from the collective? Requests?
If you find a '99 with a black interior, I really need the conscol door. There should be a few phillips head screws holding it down.
I broke mine a long time ago transporting race tires in my front seat.

Hell, I don't even own a Miata and I want to go to a Miata junk yard.
The first rule of Miata junkyards is to not talk about Miata junkyards. Why this thread hasn't already been locked is beyond me.

A Miata junkyard? No such thing.
Since 94, the NA's were equipped with all the better parts. The Torsen is probably the best upgrade you are going to find. If nothing else, get a dipstick that ain't broken. I keep an extra CAS in the trunk since my last one suddenly died. Probably should grab one if it is cheap enough.
I'd love a black 2001+ miata center console. The one in my 99 sucks. PM me if you want to work something out.

South of Camargo, ask for Duane. They have 7-8 Miatas and about 40 mustangs.
Sounds more like a Mustang junkyard to me.
