Ah, gotcha. My friend has a pair of recaro pole positions in his S2000 and they're nice, the lower side bolsters arent as high as some other fixed back seats so it doesn't make ingress and egress any more difficult or as bad as a sparco evo. Unfortunately they are more expensive than fixed back Corbeaus but I have never sat in a fixed back Corbeau to be able to compare.

Loadsamoney . Actually it wasn't that bad as I picked them up used, but if you want new, IIRC the sliders run you around $250 apiece and the fake Brides are something like $600-700 for the pair. Real ones - which are nicer and better quality IMHO - are close to a grand each.
That's not terrible. About the same as Sparco Sprints. Suppose it would just be a matter of how much i could recoup out of this setup. (Was about a grand new.)

I've gone back to the stock seats in that car. Make me an offer on the Bride setup if you want.

I think I have a couple options at this point. Anyone have experience with Sparco Sprints or Cobra Monacos in a Miata? Local shop is selling Canadian Brides for $420-$650/pr as well.

I've got a set of Sprints in mine. Picked them up at the Sparco garage sale for a song a few years ago. Oddly, Sparco doesn't make brackets for them...I mean, why would they want to make brackets for the most raced car in the world??

Ended up fabbing mounts out of 1/4" steel. I sit lower than the stock setup, but I'm 6'1" and I definitely don't pass the broomstick test. The Sprints seem to be one of the more comfortable aftermarket seats, but you have to have a small waist.

Did they require any tunnel massaging or anything of the sort? Or do they just... fit?

Working with a 30" waist so i think fitting in them wouldn't be a problem.

Side and bottom mount provisions?

I have Recaro PPs in my Miata, they're way more comfortable than any of the Corbeaus I've ever sat in. Hell, they're more comfortable than the factory seats were.

Bolted to the floor, TC Design custom mounts, factory rear seat mounts cut out, I'm 3.5 inches lower than I was sitting on the factory seat.

Just sucks that I can't bolt to the floor. Those PPs look the ticket.

Just bolt these to the floor then, then the seats to these.

Actually... if those PPs are 3.5" lower than factory seats like that, i bet they'd fit just fine on brackets/sliders for me. I don't need lower than stock. Stock is fine.
