I want to get a set of rota RKRs for my na. The problem is they come in 15x8 and I can only find them in zero offset. So I'd have to have a stretched tire and I hate the way that looks.
I could go with the 15x9 -15 and use fender flares. While this would look really cool how would it affect my handling?
How would you have a stretched tire on an 8" wide rim and it not be even worse on a rim an inch wider? What size tire are you planning on running, because anything bigger than a 205 should be ok on the 8" rim?
If the rim is an inch wider and offset only slightly more than 1/2" to the inside the outside edge of the rim will be in almost exactly the same place. From the side I doubt anyone could spot the difference.
I had a serious problem with tire rub when I tried running a 9" wide slick on my Spec Miata wheels. They were canti-levered, and designed to fit the 15 x 7 wheel. With a 35mm offset, I've got some shiny spots on the inside of the rear tire wells. The zero offset should help, but you really want to check!

He's saying that to fit under stock bodywork the 15x8 0 offset would need a stretched tire to not foul out on the car.
15x9 -15 goes straight to flares.
I'm pretty sure the RKR is available in +20, though.
I can only find the +20 in the 17" version. They have a +10 in 15" but I think I'd still have to stretch a tire.
I bet a 205/50 would fit on the +10 with a manly roll.
I'm surprised this is a problem, though... i know i've seen many of them on CR wearing RKRs under stock bodywork, and not just the Stancy McStancerton-type builds.

So the 15x9 6uls are a +36 and require a fender roll and removing the fender liners to fit up front on an NA, just FYI.
Not with the 15x8 6UL and a 225/45-15, though. If you had a +33 offset (or a set of the 6ULs with a 3mm spacer), they'd rub.
My suggestion would be to look at the Rota RB, a very similar wheel available in a lot more size.
Thanks for the help y'all.
