Went. Had fun. Met Bryce. Not sure I convinced his wife that he's normal.
I drove past there once every two weeks for a year, never stopped in. Should be a cool auction full of eccentric buyers.
Just got home. Glad I went, bunch of stuff there that I'll never see again. Neat to see what kind of stuff people made with few pre-conceived notions, kind of working in a bubble (pardon the pun). The Peel P50 was really cool in an extreme microcar kind of way. Probably my favorite one there wasn't much of a microcar at all, the Fiat 600 Multipla.
I was there all day and thoroughly examined every car. My wife is further convinced that I am not normal. I don't mind as long as she doesn't mind.
We had a Fiat 500 rental car, appropriately enough...the auto trans controller reminded me of why I hate automatics.
