I just talked to my State Farm agent yesterday about moving one of our vehicles to limited mileage status. The vehicle is a 2010 Ford Edge with a 165,000 miles. The new policy limits mileage to 7500 miles per year. It saves a little less then $100 per year. We had the same on one of my old business cars that was replaced with a new one maybe five years ago. The car eventually was totaled by a distracted driver but during the time it had limited mileage the insurance company never checked yearly mileage.
