Interested in thoughts about these two cars. Use will be daily driving, mixed with autocross, rally cross, and track days. Could be built into full blown race/rally car in 2 years (rally limits the MINI because of suspension, Fiesta rally suspension should fit the 2).

With Mazada you get all the Mspeed support and contingency if your successful. Its cheaper and lighter. With Mini you get great handling (I have an MCS, I like the way it handles) and they make me grin. Anyone have experience with both?

Thanks

Jeff

Haven't driven a 2 yet, but based on buy-in and running costs, I would go with it. MINIs command a premium that I can't quite overcome. Mazda Motorsports parts pricing and contingency cash is icing on the cake.

Oh, and 2's sound hilarious when they run full on rally tires on the street (looking at you, Tom Heath :p)

Both cars are eligible for the new B-spec series, so they both are going to have a lot of options soon. How much of that will relate to rally cross...
