I welded a "custom" truss hanger to the forklift at work yesterday. basically some scrap 6x6 steel tubing, and a hook to take metal trusses up to 20'. also, when my seal removal hook gave up the ghost, I welded it to a huge junk craftsman screwdriver I had lying around. And my personal favorite- made a short double male ended extension cord to backpower outlets in a house to find where the short was. It just looked wicked.
