This just popped up in my recommended feed on YouTube, the quality of the footage is worth the 6 minutes it takes to watch.
Big screen is best.

I always get a kick out of period films like this, seeing spectators casually lounging against a wall that's two feet off the race line while they smoke a cigarette.
Love those sharknose Ferraris - it's too bad that Enzo had them all destroyed.
That was beyond cool. Tom1200, I was thinking the same. How much longer the tunnel is now, how much the bay has changed to accommodate more and larger vessels, etc. Cool stuff!
I don't think I have ever heard that much tire squeal at an F1 race. Was it real or was it added when the original film was made?
I liked seeing the actual swimming pool at piscine, the tree lined sidewalks and the complete lack of any sort of barrier between the race course and the harbor.

Not curvy enough to be an e-type.
I'm thinking maybe a Ferrari or Maserati Gt.
Outstanding. Sure is easy to romanticize the era with a film like this. Thanks for sharing the link.
