Wait til you see what it runs, the HP it puts down and the amazing array of various OEM's parts that went into the very nice build of this odd little sleeper:

That's Larry Buford, a regular at Shelby Dodge events. Nicest guy in the world.
I was lucky enough to drive that car. It was insane to say the least!
My first car was a '93 Plymouth Sundance Duster. My ex-wife made me sell it. She did a lot of evil E36 M3 to me, but that is the one thing I will never forgive her for.

Yes. Yes you should.
Ive linked dyno sheets from that car into GRM threads before.
I like it because it is very unassuming. Just a well-built machine that doesnt feel the need to beg for your attention.
so let me get this straight,
chyrsler motor (4g63? or something else like the quad 4?), neon head (DOHC, is this something special other than that?), dodge dakota belhousing (manual or auto?), toyota supra trans (w58?).
oh yeah, cam gears and turbo from other stock vehicles too. Wonder where the cams come from.
In reply to rcutclif:
Its either a Chrysler 2.5 SOHC block with a Neon/Stratus DOHC installed on it with a Dakota 2.5L RWD bellhousing and a Supra R154 5-speed and a Ford 9"
Cams? Stock cams are more than sufficient, Neon/Stratus/SRT4 aftermarket cams are also available. The Mexican Stratus R/T had a cast iron turbo manifold with a standard Garrett bolt pattern. Costs around $200 or you can roll your own using stainless Weld-Els. Sounds like the turbo came from a Dodge Cummins Diesel (possibly a holset?)

Yup, 2.5L bottom end from the 86-95 SOHC 8v motor. It's not related to the 4g63 at all. The head is a dohc neon piece. They also used an extremely similar head with the intake and exhaust sides switched on 2g DSMs which some people use if it makes things more convenient in their engine bay. The bellhousing is from an early 90s 2.5L 5spd dakota with an AX-15 trans. I think the supra trans being used here is r154. Not sure if that bellhousing bolts to a w58 but im guessing yes. You can get cams from mild to wild for neon heads. You can buy off the shelf cams intended to make power at 9000 rpm on a 2.0. Obviously a 2.5 moves the powerband to the left quite a bit. If you just want to make power in the 'stock' powerband/rpm range, it's easier to do it with boost than cam changes. He's never revved it substantially past 6500 so i wouldnt be surprised if the cams were stock 2.0 or 2.4 pieces.
The turbo is a holset.
Speaking of Larry...I remembered today, I had one of my most exciting drag races against him in the ScAries. This was at the Shelby Dodge Auto Club convention a few years ago in the Quick 8. I beat him at the tree and if I remeber correctly, he bogged it on the launch, which was how I was ahead. At the time, ScAries was running 11.3's to Larry's mid 10's and he was trapping 10 mph faster. As you can see, he was coming up on me hard and I just barely beat him to the stripe. Was definitely an exciting race watching him reel me in from the rear view mirror. Pretty sure I dented the floor trying to plant the pedal!
i had to ask my turbo dodge friend about this car after seeing the video, he said it was even cooler in person and the owner was a nice guy. really unassuming little car

Young man you have just lost your internet privelages for the rest of the week! GET TO YOUR ROOM!
while the car is cool, that is undeniable.. the owner/driver is just awesome. The kind of guy I would love to meet

There might be on turbododge.com. Search KCLarryB.
