1989 IROC-Z for $11k?
That is one of the nicest ones I have ever seen. At 7500 I think it would be a decent deal. You just don't see those un molested and with out rust any more.
Reaching a bit? Maybe. Crack pipe stupid, I don't think so compared to some other examples posted here. Still not my "can of corn" though, so what do I know !!
Interesting. Hagerty says $12,300 for a "good" one and $9300 for "fair." "Concours" is listed at $33,000. YMMV and all that, too.
It's his asking price and he says he's very negotiable. People can put any price they want in an ad, it doesn't mean it will sell for that amount.

X2.
I didn't realize these things came with carpet!
In 10 years you'll all be whining the "I should have bought that $11,000 IROC" when they're all triple that price.

I won't be. After owning two third gen f-bodies, I still don't understand how a car that big can be so hard to work on.
Seems reasonable to me. Go find another one in similar condition for less and then get back to us.
Like anything, it's worth whatever someone will pay for it.
...says the guy who just paid well over book value for a R53 MINI because the option combination is somewhat rare.

Been there done that. At some point it becomes what somthing I worth to you and not about market value.
I have "over paid" for cars because they were local. Where as a comparable one was half way across the country. My time has a value and that with the cost of shipping or the fly and drive costs. So a local crack priced car can sometimes be a much better deal than it fist appears.
