BIG truck.... 330 CI motor!?!?!
You would think Ford had a bigger motor they could put in there in 67. I am sure there is a lot of gearing involved, but still. Seems like it needs a LOT more motor.

i feel like this was a common practice back then. like dean1481 said some trucks like this (and bigger) would have the straight 6 in them. From what I've seen the solution they had back then was crazy high (numerically) rear gears and a giant radiator. it would pull anything, just not fast.
That is a big motor for the time. I had a C-60 Chevy that came with a straight 6. My father's last gas soda truck was a GMC with the 366 big block as an option.
I guess we will know in 5 days and 7 hours if you will be bringing that home since it is located only 2.5 hours south of Gainesville.
