My 90 Mustang has H&R lowering springs and the fronts seem to be compressed more than usual.
The first 5 coils in the spring are touching each other. This brings a couple of things to mind.
1. The springs are to long and someone stuffed them in there.
2. The rear springs are installed in the front (not sure that is possible).
When I get home I will take a picture but in the meantime I'd appreciate any wisdom thoughts etc.

There should be part numbers on the springs. You could use that to make sure you have the correct springs.

In reply to Trent :
Ok......it just seemed odd to me.
In reply to Trent :
This.
Loving that fox body posts are becoming more frequent here.
In reply to Cooper_Tired :
Oh, totally.
The fronts have built in tender springs so they don't fall out at full droop.

Here is a picture. Note the front is roughly an inch lower than the rear.
In reply to Tom1200 :
I'm running a different brand (not 100% sure but think it's SVE) and my car has the wheels off but the top coils are tightly spaced like that.

My next issue is tire clearence.
Let me know if you plan to take out the front springs, I have a tool for that. Just pay shipping. I think it's a MM brand helper.
The springs should have some isolators between the ends and at least one side, could account for the ride height.
I can try for a pic of my sn95 later today, I've got h&r on there.
Also, h&r are progressive springs, stacked coils is normal
