They didn't do a great job advertising this. I'm just up the road from MA and my wife saw signs for it but no dates. We didn't get down there until it was almost over and the rain was getting ready to come down.
I need to find the Junior Johnson interview where he talked about putting a Cadillac ambulance engine into a '40 Ford. Then supercharging it. He said "...that'd go so fast you couldn't even focus on the road". Then he added later, "...I think the fastest car I ever drove was a shine car".
