I'm not sure how relevant this info is to you but I did something similar to my '93 Cobra. It was only a 5.0 but I Moved the K member forward and then moved the engine rearward. I also swapped the stock iron GT40 heads for a set of GT40-X aluminum heads. By also going coil over and using tubular LCAs I gained a 3% weight transfer. I went from 57% on the front to 54% and of course the rear went from 43% to 46% With some further mods I ended up with a 53/47 balance. And this is using a modified stock K member and no light weight body parts like a fiberglass hood.
