that L33 is still considered an "LSx" as far as aftermarket parts are concerned. if it was one of the 4" or bigger bore engines- 6.0, etc- then you could get some really awesome heads right from GM to really wake it up..

Coming from you (after seeing your Challenge abilities last year), I'll take this as an especially nice comment!

Too bad it's a "baby" V8. Heads would be a nice addition. So would a turbo though too!
I'll be at the Challenge to spectate this year and will be sure to bring this with me!
If it's an aftermarket shifter, also check out if there are shifter stops built in and re-adjust those. If those weren't adjusted properly, it could explain some of the symptoms you've been experiencing...

It's near the top of the list of things to do.

Yes, Yes you do! It's time for a GRM intervention. He hasn't properly done the giant, smokey, 20 minute long tire smoking hoon session required to claim ownership. I was tempted to perform the ritual while I had the keys and possession, but sadly it wasn't mine to own.

Ride your new bike over while you're at it. I want to see that too.
There may be a small, mostly local RX-7ish get together later this week. Would you guys be willing to join in the fun? If interested, I'll get you the details if/when it comes together.

Thanks! I'm anxious to dig in and get it a little better sorted. I hope to find a roll bar that meets my needs and may go with the Sneed bar referenced earlier in my other thread. Luckily I'm pretty short, so I typically drive with the seat only midway back. That, combined with tall fixed back seats and copious roll bar padding, will hopefully keep my melon off the bar when on the street and not wearing a helmet.

Are you allowed to go to RX-7 meets with this? I thought they crucified those unfaithful to the magical spinning Dorito in the sky.
