Edit: As soon as I posted this, I realized that some will say that this isn't a "real" truck. Well I certainly know the difference, so to save us argument, and to judge this vehicle on its own merits, let's call it a "PRTLT" (Personal-remotely-truck-like-thing).

Edit2: Look at the approach angles on that thing! It's just crying to get jacked up and taken to the woods!

Shame it's a bit spendy, but this sucker would serve 95 percent of my needs perfectly. Cab-forward, baby!

Kinda like an updated Suzuki x-head concept.  I loved that concept.

Still wondering what those tiny little pickup beds are good for. He can't even fit his entire surfboard in it.

Surfboard has a pass through. I imagine it's for things just *that* much too big for a hatchback.

The side cubby is cute.

Isn't that true of practically every quad-cab pickup out there?

Ironically, I used to be able to get my dirtbike into my Ranchero!

That's probably why I don't like quad cab pickups. I don't need to haul people. I need to haul stuff.

I'd like it better if it was a single cab, but I don't have any back seat passengers to worry about.

That truck has a mid-gate. A 4x8 sheet of plywood will lay down in it with the tailgate closed.  90% of F150s can't do that.

Sorry, no pics, but when I sold race car parts in Atlanta 30 years ago, we had a pretty good shop truck for Atlanta: 1972 Chevy pickup with power steering, a Powerglide and a stupid-low final drive. It was awesome to about 50. On 285, not so much.

I like it and I'm generally not an EV or 'mini-truck' guy. But yea, I like it.

I haul dogs and people more than I haul stuff. But I haul just enough stuff that a hatchback/SUV/short pickup bed is very useful to me.

I have a dog bed in the back seat of my S550 Mustang. Two large huskies can ride comfortably back there.

It's probably the only thing that back seat is good for.
