I don't know if it's NB specific, but the 949 recipe of a 2.5 aluminum tube with, I think (you can find the recipe on the 949/Supermiata website), a 21" length from the end to throttle body blades (?) is still the best set up, afaik.
I have a bastardized version on my car (I foolishly bought an RB intake years prior, so I repurposed), works pretty well, enough to notice on the butt dyno.
