The strategy you outined seems to be the basis for Kia/Hyundai. They have gotten it wrong in the past (read: Ammani) but seem to be getting it right (or more right) with the Genisis.

My first thoughts were that this looks like that new, ultra-tall Lincoln that is built off the Taurus/Five Hundred platform.

Buick LePomme-de-Terr?

(Sorry, I spell "potato" worse in French than Dan Quayle does in English.)

The question is not WHY but rather... WHEN?

Next generation Hyundai elantra or kia equivalent?

The logo has been photoshop'd out. It appears to be a circular logo on the front grill and rear trunk.

  1. When Sam Barris chopped the first '49 Mercury.

Possibly even earlier, when harry Westergard was chopping cars like this '39 Ford

It's actually quite easy to see out of, when your inside it sitting next to the glass. i've driven a lot of chopped street rods/customs, and I'd rather be in them than the typical work van/panel van/pickup with cap.

Is that the 2010 Buick Turd? Or, the Future Buick That Never Was? Or the 2010 Tata-Motors of North America (TM-NA) Here's-your-berkeleying-sedan?

I drive an Esprit. Rearward and Side Visibility are highly overrated.
