Pretty sure the alternator is going bad (haven't pulled/tested it yet...).
I guess the NB2 puts out 10a more? I would presume wiring, etc, is the same?
Any issues with that? Seems to me there shouldn't be, but, figured I'd ask.

Off the cuff, I'm going to say "nope! No problem at all"
If you can bolt it up and plug it in, you're good to go.
I ran a 100amp GM alternator from an Oldsmobile Firenza in my '87 Toyota pickup to replace its anemic 30amp unit and it worked just fine.
