Need a favor in Tampa, look at a car for fly n drive?

There's a low mile GMC Envoy at Certified Motors at 5634 W Linebaugh Ave i want to fly down and drive back to Montgomery Alabama.   Just need a once over and check underneath to make sure its not rusty. My cell is 334 with the next 3 digits are two zero two amd a sprinkle of 6275 at the end

Little out of the way for me, but I should be able to get to it this weekend if no one else can.

Hopefully leaving early Sat AM to go down, just a last minute hope that someone can tell me its junk before i make the trip

New development, this turned into a drive n drive.  Downside?  8 hours one way in the car, upside is that my 14 yr old son and best friend is going with us so he will be great company on the ride home.  This dealership has fun stuff on their website to ogle for whoever makes it by there.  Lotus, Lambo, Ferrari F40, Ariel Atom, restomod muscle cars,  Humvee, MB SLS AMG Black edition, GTR, stock 94 Supra twin turbskis

I would be extremely leery.

Thats a bit deeper than surface rust. Id be tapping on the bottoms of the cab or other rust prone areas. We have a 2015 f-150  at work from PA. The frame and the rest look similar to that, maybe not as bad, but the bottom corners of the cab are rust holes you could pass a golf ball through.

I poked a couple suspect areas with a pocket knife and didn't see any flags.  I was rolling around on the ground though.  A lift may have allowed for a better inspection 

Obviously i will look again before i put these hunnert dolla beels in the desk

Yuck.  If you are going to drive that far, at least get a non-rusty car.

When I lived in Sarasota, I bought a Cherokee country that had started out in Chicago.

I still bought it since it had almost no visible rust, but it seemed like the salt was already imbedded in the metal or something the way the rust took hold after a couple of years. I had to dump it fast.

Never again.
