I have a Toyota MR2 Lemons / Chump car. I have wired up the 'heater' fan to blow nice cool air at the driver, or with a turn of the metal heater hose, at the window to 'defrost' the window when it rains. But we had pretty much chopped up the harness in the past. I can wire the fan with a simple relay and switch and it works fine, 90000000mph blows out of the hose. But I would love to regulate the fan speed. The fan has a simple 12v and ground connector. I would like to have a simple switch that has low, med, high and off with the resisters built into the switch. So basically I would just need to supply 12v from a relay that is also switched. Then the regulated power is then fed to the fan.

anyone know what switch I need and where I can get it?

Thank you in advance.

just get a heater resister out of a car at the junkyard and wire up a couple of toggle switches (or one multi position switch) for the different speeds.

it's actually pretty simple.
