Maybe, but how many of them are fun to autocross, too. If 7 seats will be full regularly, you need a 7-seater. If not, you probably don't.

I thought we were getting the 7 seater for the DD and having a fun car? Fun car = not auto-xing the DD.

Sorry for the confusion. If I'm getting a minivan I'll keep my 330Ci for my DD and build it as close to STX spec as possible and use the minivan sparingly mostly for hauling my family.
I rode around in the back of a 59 Fiat 600. And it was good...
Personally I would keep the Bimmer & get a mid-sized SUV DD, but that's the way I roll.
Honda vans are nice, but unless you just got to have a Honda, I would consider some other make. The Chevy or Dodge depreciate a good bit faster and you can probably get a comparable van for less. The Venture my wife drives we paid 3800 for 5 years. It now has 170000 miles on it. Never been in the shop except for tires and I had to put an intake manifold gasket in it at 130000. That was after the wife drove it for a week or so with the crankcase full of water. Tough little van for cheap
