It's terrible when you need a rubber and can't find one the right size. You need one both to protect yourself from accidental exposure to anything dangerous that might be in the hole, and to keep yourself from accidentally letting anything get in the hole that could create a lot of unplanned work for yourself and possibly a much larger commitment of time than you'd planned for. Those are the risks that some people take when they decide to just go without one.

Anyone else miss these? I used play with the "ribbed" shift boot in my dad's Omni. We kids used to poke it to invert the ribs and then jam the shifter about while dad ran into the store to grab a pack of smokes. I... may have been joe dirt in a previous life.
I have some in my k-cars but just to add something new the one in my Montero also looks almost exactly like that, so maybe look if its available for Mitsus.
Ima make a junkyard run and do some measuring.
Nissan hard bodys, montero, volvos, equipment, and mazda ford and see what i can figure out.
Mazda/ford pickups are a no as is the hardbody, all are to big.
90s toyota cars and jeeps are next on my list.
I am just glad that I am not the only one here who's mind takes a trip to the gutter every now and then.
If you are crafty you can take a razorblade and section one and use crazy glue to reassemble it the correct size. I have done this for rubber gaskets and O-rings with good success.

I have made many gaskets and orings that way. I know there has to be a off the shelf option that will work.
Metro molded parts has a few accordion boots. Not sure if the sizes are right but...
I also find that calling them will turn up more bits than their website
