Hoping that Ford brings it to the next C&D Lightning Lap.
GM is amazing. The Corvette just keep getting better. What a time to be an enthusiast. I recall reading in a car mag in the early 90's that engineers were convinced that 240-260 horsepower was the most anyone would make with the emissions rules as they were. Now we get a car with three times that, which will also idle, be quiet enough for the drive through, reliable enough for a cross country drive, civil enough that anyone could drive it, and normal enough that most parts stores will sell nearly everything you'll ever need.
I saw a guy at a hot rod gathering some time ago with a sweet tunnel rammed Dodge idling all cackly "wroom! baddabaddabadda vroom! baddabaddabadda..." and that guy was working hard to keep it running driving it around. You know it fouled the plugs after a few miles, and that it got like 5 mpg. This Vette probably makes double the horsepower.
