So much better than the usual 'introducing the new blah blah blah' or celeb endorsements. Got me right in the feels:

Nice. That's how you make someone at least want to look at your cars.
As opposed to: "This car is on fire, but we've provided you with a fire extinguisher or would you rather have this one that's not on fire?"
My two sons like cars, but my grandson loves cars. He has as many hot wheels as I did. And when he comes over we hang out in the SOB.
I sent it to my Dad. He said he cried. I did a lil too :). I remember riding on my dads shoulders to watch races at Daytona, Sebring, Road Atlanta and more.
I'm not going to lie, I got a little verklempt with that one. I have my first child (boy) due in September, being near COTA I can't wait to take my son to his first race and share the passion my dad shared with me.
That was pretty good, but I couldn't stop being amused at the fact that a Mazda sponsored racetrack was so prominently featured in a Porsche commercial. They did a good job of not showing any Mazda signage at least.
Great commercial.
My dad was a car guy and took me to watch races when I was a young kid. Dirt tracks, asphalt ovals, drag strips, Lime Rock. Bought my first race car with lawn mowing money when I was about 11, a fiberglass bodied 1/4 Midget. Dad helped me do a disc brake install, engine swap from the direct drive Clinton to a "modern" briggs with clutch and hauled the car to the local track in the back of moms station wagon so I could start racing. Been almost 50 years since then and I'm still a car guy. Miss my dad, wish he lived long enough to see the automotive things I've accomplished or at least got to watch me lapping around Lime Rock. I've passed on the automotive passion to my stepson in a similar fashion.
Both of my kids have been to every car show or racing event possible when they were young. Neither of them have cars as a hobby today, but that may come in the future. My 27 year old is coming back from Seattle to spend a weekend with his old man at the TRF Summer Party and hopefully abuse our spitfire challenge car one more time next month. So I guess I passed it along...... Great commercial!
Dad knew little about cars. He liked Fords and Shelbys. Only because I think he thought he should. And his Dad was a Ford man. Until he wasnt.
