As canoe-y as this seems, I saw this car on Speedhunters in an article about TAS:

An EV yes but it's the Shinayaka polymer that caught my attention. 

A bit of googling and I found this:

Seems interesting and thought more people may also be interested in looking at it. Seems to be a resin based polymer that they want to replace steel while being lighter but just as strong. Also allows for more creative designs.

A quick glance at their site suggests it is a Thermoset polymer (chemical or heat cured) vs a thermoplastic.  As Toray is one of the latgest bavkward integrated carbon fiber manufacturers in the world that focus on CF makes sense.  The site shows standard low pressure RTM infusion bagging for the part processing meaning cycle times will be long and manual.  It should keep them very close to the well understood aero space applications which makes the weight and strength numbers listed make sense.
