I drove by a Mazda dealer the other day. I didn't see a single car that wasn't an SUV/CUV. Seriously, no 3s, no Miatas. Oh and those are the only cars they sell anymore!
They know where the money is.
I have a really hard time imagining them building another sports car. It's amazing the Miata still exists frankly. Mazda is a small company that likely does not have the extra capital to mess around like Toyota can or Hyundai can.
I will not be holding by breath, even as pretty as the SP is.
