To start, I've had a hell of a weekend with this car. Early Saturday morning, I was limping the Vic to a buddy's house to fix the charging problem when it had a new and interesting failure, which forced me off the road where I hit a rock and flattened the passenger side front tire.
My plan was to find some Mustang takeoff wheels with decent tires in the next few weeks, and since now I was riding around on the spare and 3 snow tires on the stock wheels, it was clear the timetable had been jumped up a little bit.
After contacting a few local folks with disappointing results, I started scouring the DC area CL for Mustang wheels, where I found a decent deal on takeoff 05 Mustang GT wheels and new Pirelli tires.
Anyhow, onto the crappy cell phone pics!

My brother really wanted me to go with some 19" stock wheels off of a '11 GT, and my father wasn't sure how the ones I picked would look on the car, but he was convinced after we put them on.
They aren't exactly what I wanted, but I'm really pleased with the end result.

You should be! Very nice! (But please stop giving me reasons to buy one!)
In reply to ebonyandivory:
I like the Vic, but I could probably give you a few reasons not to buy one.
Love the wheels, but I'd give you plenty more reasons TO buy one to nullify racer1ab.
Those wheels look great! Is there any way you could lower the nose about an inch?
Man those wheels look really, really good on there!

Hey, they're great cars! But not for everyone, and I'd gladly give a list of the pros and cons, not like most people here really need them.
Those wheels look great on there.
Now you need to improve the suspension to compensate for the added grip. After that you'll need better seats, and you'll probably want to add some more power. Perhaps an engine swap...

Thanks for the compliments on the wheels!
I agree, MOAR LOWER would be good, but right now I live down a rutted lane so ground clearance is king.
Once I can afford to move into suburbia and have a paved driveway, the Vic will get the drop she deserves.

It never ends. But your suggested path is exactly what I'd like to do. Money is an issue though.

Well, until you have the monies for suspension 'upgrades', you can always just drive faster on bad roads to truly appreciate stock suspension.
At some point i found that i could haul way more ass over bad roads in my Caravan than in my 'faster' lowered cars, and it gave me a new appreciation for suspension travel. You have to go faster to appreciate it, though.
Thanks guys! I even got compliments on the car from a couple of our local LEOs when they saw me out today!
The more I look at the car, the more I like the wheels. I know its a minor point, but a lot of the newer Mustang wheels either have the Mustang logo on the center or have GT stamped into the rim. These just have the Ford logo on them, so it satisfies my slight OCD tendencies.
Like my father said, "Those wheels look like they could've come stock on that car."
I like that. :)
Looks great. Mustang wheels work well. I have Shelby GT500 takeoff wheels on my Panther.
