...but WTF were they thinking???
If there was a competition for the ugliest vehicle ever built, there wouldn’t even be ANY other competitors!

I look at that picture and think my reaction will be smash the windows and spray paint it flat black to kill the sun reflections.

I actually think it's awesome looking. But I'm like that. However, it does look useless.
In reply to Duke :
As a random shape or form of art, I agree. It has a certain amount of awesomeness. If they had called it the “Tesla Jetsonmobile”, or the “CyberDiscus”, I could embrace it.
But they called it a truck. And uselessness is not a character trait of a truck. Disengaging form from function does not equal great design.

At the time I wrote that I didn't realize that the sloped back was a tonneau over the bed or that it had a tailgate. I thought it was one of those high riding, squashed-roof SUC things I hate so much.
But it's not, so I withdraw my useless comment.
In reply to SVreX :
Frank Lloyd Wright talking about form following function has to be some next level irony. Almost all of his landmark buildings have needed millions in design remediation and upgrades. I love them but they're all terrible at the "function" part.

He seemed like he was more about-I can make odd looking things function, which I guess kinda fits this conversation.
