Gather around for a bench build session and query.

  • 2200-2330lbs
  • GM V6 3500
    • NA - 220 chp - 220 ctq
    • Small turbo(s) - 350-400 chp - ??? ctq
  • Street Tires - 275-40-17
  • Rear ratio
    • NA - 3.73 or 3.91
    • Turbo - 3.23 or 3.42

Any thoughts on the survivability of a Camaro V6 T5 in this combo? How about a 2 ring Saginaw?

T5 will be fine. Use ge world class t5 from the 3800 camaro.

I broke diff in my miata with tge 3400, t5, and dead hook drag slicks.  Trans never cared.

Word!!

The world class T5 in question has the 4.03 crawler first gear and 14 spline input - believe it is out of a 2.8L Crammit. I think it would good enough for NA.

Starter pocket will be on the wrong side for the fwd, unless its a dual pocket bellhousing. Thats why im using the 3800 part
