If it was me I would have to try them out, if it's just a bolt on thing. If there is cutting involved then I may not, but more than likely I would.

Just a bolt on with the slip fit strap type clamps. I may I just don't want to ruin an already good car.

Well got plates on it today and it sailed through the state inspection. Took it for its first real good long test drive. Other than rotors that either need replacing or I just need to clean them off from sitting it is fantastic. What a car. This thing really scoots. Very good in the corners. It inspires confidence when cornering. But is equally at home eating up the miles. I put a tank of supper in it and that realm smoothed out the motor and it has more pep. The fuel in it was more than a year old.
